I can now officiate marriages (provided they occur in my town before the end of the month)!

  
Next weekend I’ll be officiating my brother’s wedding, so I went down to Town Hall to take the Oath of Office as Town Marriage Officer and make it all legal. I like that New York State has this option for people who would rather not be married by a religious figure or a judge. We’re putting the finishing touches on the ceremony this weekend. Now we just need the weather to cooperate…
